Megan Cooney, Illini Volleyball, has been selected as this year’s BankChampaign Shots for Scholarships recipient.

Megan has received numerous recognitions including Honorable Mention All-American, All-Big Ten Second Team, Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, multi-year Academic All-Big Ten Team, and she holds a 3.90 GPA.

Since 2016, the BankChampaign Shots for Scholarship has been awarded annually to a University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign student athlete who is continuing study towards an advanced degree. Recipients are selected for the scholarship by a 12-member group of campus academic services professionals who work with every student-athlete on curriculum, career planning and advising.
